Low Depth and High Depth- Artist Reflection

I believe the best shot of this assignment was the low depth photo of the Christmas light. The photo was darkened enough to focus just on the light and make everything else in the background blurry. The weakest photo in this assignment I believe would be the high depth photo of the bag. The photo is more on the yellow side and I don't think the object that was blurred out was big enough. My weakest photo can be improved by fixing my editing and make my photo less yellow. I used Snapseed to edit my photos. The tools I used were brightness, contrast, saturation, highlights and curves. I was able to meet the goals of this assignment by changing the aperture and shutter effect for my photos. I found capturing both depths pretty easily. The easy part of this assignment was taking the photos. Changing the settings was easier than I thought it was going to be. The hard part of this assignment was editing he photos to really bring the high and low depths out so that its attractive towards the eye. If I could do this assignment again, I would experiment with editing more and try experimenting with more out of the box type tools and see what would happen. I would give myself an 8 on the assignment because I can still learn so much more to improve  my photos.
